Secrecy
Contrary to
popular belief, the only Masonic secrets are those concerned with the
traditional modes of recognition among members. It is not a
Secret Society, as all its members are free to acknowledge their
membership, and will do so in response to reasonable inquiries.
There is no secret
about any of its aims and principles, and its constitutions and rules
are available to the public. Like many other societies, it regards
some of its internal affairs as matters private to its members.
Masonic Meeting
places and Halls are well-known locally (our own Masonic Centre has a
14 foot sign over our entrance on Castle Street Limerick).
Our
Masonic Centre is open to the public.
Non-Masons are very welcome to visit our premises and
we shall be happy to explain what Masons have to offer in terms of
friendship and integrity.
Enquire from the Curator for opening times or by clicking on the email
link at the bottom of this page.
